By creating an account or using UseMeritFit (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

UseMeritFit extracts the published criteria from a scholarship or university-program page you provide — eligibility and admission requirements, deadlines, costs — reads the details out of documents you upload, checks all of it against the profile you enter, lets you compare saved programs side by side, and helps you draft applications. It’s a decision-support and drafting tool — nothing more.

UseMeritFit does not predict, score, or guarantee your chances of winning any scholarship or being admitted to any program. We report which published requirements you appear to meet or miss, based only on the information you and the source page provide. Eligibility, admission, deadlines, and selection are determined solely by the scholarship providers and universities. Always verify requirements and deadlines against the official source before relying on them.

Extraction is automated and imperfect. Details we read from a page or from a document you upload — including scores and dates taken from a test-score report — can be wrong or incomplete. Check them, and correct anything that doesn’t match your own records.

You must sign in with a valid Google account and be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account.

Don’t use the Service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, upload content you don’t have the right to, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or scrape it at scale. Use it for your own genuine applications.

You keep ownership of the profile details, documents, and anecdotes you provide. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process that content to operate the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Drafts are generated with AI and are a starting point, not a finished application. They can contain errors, omissions, or bracketed placeholders. You are responsible for reviewing, correcting, and submitting your own work. Any answer you submit to a scholarship or university is yours, not ours.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extracted data will be complete or accurate. Features may change or be discontinued.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UseMeritFit and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for missed deadlines, rejected applications, or decisions made in reliance on the Service. The Service is a free tool offered in good faith.

The Service’s design, code, and branding belong to UseMeritFit, except where the source is published under its own license. These terms don’t grant you rights to our trademarks or content beyond using the Service as intended.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of India.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
